Everything else in this app hands you a frequency to receive. This does the reverse. It listens to what you are already producing, tells you what it is, and can retune itself to you rather than asking you to arrive at it.

The subtitle is either true or it is decoration.
This is where it gets tested.

Nothing is recorded, transmitted or stored. The microphone stream is analysed frame by frame for pitch and then discarded, and it stops the moment you close this.
